Privacy notice

Everyday Optics is in private preview. The only information a visitor can actively submit is a contact enquiry: name, email address, enquiry type, optional page address and message. It is used to respond to the enquiry, correct content and keep a proportionate record of correspondence.

How enquiries are handled

Form submissions are stored in the portfolio’s Cloudflare D1 enquiries database with an Everyday Optics site identifier before a notification is sent to our inbox. The form uses input validation, a hidden spam field and Cloudflare Turnstile. The notification includes the enquiry and uses your email address as its Reply-To so we can respond. Sensitive form content is not written to application logs.

Site analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics reports page visits, referring sites and loading performance so we can improve the guides and the site. It uses a browser beacon without setting analytics cookies. We review aggregate reports, not individual visitor profiles.

Retention and rights

Enquiries should be retained only as long as needed to respond, maintain an appropriate correspondence record or meet a legal obligation. A reviewed controller identity, retention schedule, rights contact and any international-transfer detail must be added before public launch. Until then, the form and site remain a private noindex preview.
